March for Jobs in Pittsburgh at G20 Summit
Sat. May 8 the 75th Anniversary of the WPA

The Jobs Protest on May 8 will begin at the U.S. Dept. of Labor at 200 Constitution Ave. NW (between 2nd and 3rd NW) at noon, followed by a National Strategy Summit at 2 pm at the CWA Building, 501 Third St. NW (around E St NW). The Strategy Summit is scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm. Both venues are a short walk from Union Station.

Recommended parking for cars, vans and buses is at Union Station (parking rates below), just a few blocks away from the Labor Dept. (map below). Union Station has a food court, restrooms and is a good place to hang out if you arrive in DC early. The food court opens at 10 am. Remember that traffic can be congested and many people come to Washington, D.C. during this time of year, so arriving early is recommended.
